E.W. Jackson, Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia has received the endorsement of NASCAR legend Morgan Shepherd.
Morgan Shepherd said, “I endorse E.W. Jackson because of his moral values and the stand he takes for what is right. America needs a real change, a turning back to the beliefs that this country was founded on. I believe that E.W. Jackson would do his best to accomplish this task.”
Morgan Shepherd has been competing in the NASCAR Sprint and Nationwide Series since 1970 and has run in over 900 races with 19 career wins. Morgan is currently driving the #89 Chevrolet Impala in the Nationwide Series. This year Morgan Shepherd drove in the Camping World RV Sales 301 Sprint Cup race in New Hampshire, becoming the oldest driver to ever compete in a NASCAR SPRINT Cup Series race at 71. Shepherd also operates his own charity, The Morgan Shepherd Charitable Fund and was awarded the “Spirit Award” by the National Motorsports Press Association and Pocono Raceway in December 2005. Morgan is a born again Christian and works within the NASCAR family to spread the gospel.
